Wardrobes that were built in the room. Modular kitchens fixed to the wall. Bed frames with a headboard that hasn't come apart since it was installed. This is furniture that needs to be taken apart properly — and put back together exactly the same way.
Every screw, bracket, and panel is bagged and labelled to the specific piece it came from — so reassembly at the new villa isn't a guessing game. For modular or built-in furniture, we photograph the setup before dismantling begins, so even complex configurations go back together exactly as they were.
If a piece was built into the villa by a carpenter rather than bought flat-pack, tell us during the quote stage. These often need extra time and sometimes a second visit to fully restore fitted elements like wall panelling or built-in wardrobes — we'll flag this upfront so it's priced correctly, not discovered on the day.
Standard dismantling and reassembly is included in a full villa move quote. Complex custom or fitted pieces may be priced as a separate line item.
We photograph the original setup before starting, specifically to avoid this — if something isn't right, our crew fixes it before leaving.
Yes, this is sometimes booked on its own — for renovations or reconfiguring a room. Ask for a dismantling-only quote.
